Course Outline
3D Design and Printing for Beginners
Course Description
This hands-on workshop introduces beginners to the fundamentals of 3D modeling and 3D printing. Participants will learn how 3D printers work, explore essential materials and safety guidelines, and use beginner-friendly design software (Tinkercad) to create custom 3D models.
Throughout the session, learners prepare their designs for printing using slicing software (Cura/PrusaSlicer), observe the physical printing process, and apply practical post-processing techniques like support removal and finishing.
By the end of the day, every participant will take home their own custom-designed and printed 3D object.
No prior experience in 3D modeling or 3D printing required.
